The wait is finally over and TRON Lightcycle Run at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is officially ready to open! Set to open on April 5th, 2021, the highly-anticipated roller coaster promises to be one of the most thrilling rides of its kind.

Ride Overview

TRON Lightcycle Run is a roller coaster that takes riders on a thrilling journey into the Grid—an alternate digital realm based on the popular TRON film franchise. Its bold, neon-lit steel track features a single-rail design and multiple extreme turns, making for an unforgettable experience.

Opening Day

On opening day, Disney World’s Magic Kingdom will be hosting a special event to celebrate the new ride. Guests will be able to enjoy exclusive merchandise, catch special shows and shenanigans, and get a preview of the ride.

Early Access for DVC & AP Holders

DVC and Annual Passholders will be able to experience the ride before it officially opens to the public. A special preview day will be held on April 3rd for DVC members, and on April 4th for Annual Passholders.
