TRON Lightcycle Run Problems for Larger Guests

TRON Lightcycle Run Problems for Larger Guests

The new TRON Lightcycle Run is opening soon at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, and many people are super excited to ride. However, it seems as though larger guests may be in for a bit of disappointment.

Belt Width Issues

The biggest issue for guests of a certain size is the width of the safety belts in the ride. Not only do larger guests find it difficult to fit into the seat, but it is impossible to buckle the safety restraints. It is reported that the safety restraints are only around 15 inches across – meaning they will not fit guests with a waist size larger than that.

Height Restrictions

In addition to the belt-width issue, the ride also has a minimum height requirement. You must be at least 56 inches tall to be able to ride. For some guests, even 56 inches may be pushing the limits.

Safety Tips

If you are one of the unfortunate guests who cannot ride TRON Lightcycle Run, here are some tips to help keep you safe:

  • Be aware of your size: don’t try and squeeze into the ride if you know you won’t fit!
  • Wear appropriate clothing: make sure you wear clothing that allows for freedom of movement.
  • Stay alert: keep an eye on the cars and riders to make sure you don’t get hit by one.

We hope everyone will be able to enjoy TRON Lightcycle Run, but unfortunately some guests will not be able to. Hopefully Disney can come up with a solution soon so that everyone can experience this amazing new ride.
